How PoTT Works
PoTT is a cryptographic receipt layer for deep-space transport. Each relay hop issues a signed, hop-timed receipt bound to the hash of Bitcoin data (headers, filters, transactions, Lightning updates).
Initiate Payment
Lightning payment initiated on Earth (or Mars) with extended timelocks for interplanetary delays
Transport with Evidence
Data traverses DTN relays; each hop generates tamper-evident PoTT receipts with timestamps
Verify & Settle
Watchtower verifies receipts against independent time beacons and physics-based delay envelopes
PoTT adapts transport + Lightning policy, not Bitcoin's L1 consensus.
